A hero is honored

Jack Carroll was recently presented the Longevity Award in recognition of more than 50 years of continuous membership in and service to The American Legion by Col. Carl Thompson, Commander, Wiley-Pevy Post #74.

"I am honored to present a Longevity Award to Jack Carroll for over 50 years of continuous membership in the American Legion and in recognition of his patriotism, service to his fellow veterans and service to the United States of America,"  Thompson. “Mr. Carroll is one of our Nation’s heroes and a member of the Greatest Generation.”
