Babers - Nastasi  United in Marriage

Chelsea Marie Babers and Christopher Joseph Nastasi were united in marriage in a 6 p.m. ceremony May 25, 2013 at Edgewood Plantation B&B in Farmerville. Their ceremony was officiated by Bro.Warren Maxwell.
The bride is the daughter of David and Felecia Babers, of Saline. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merle and Linda Babers of Saline.

The groom is the son of Joseph and Donna Nastasi of Minden. He is the grandson of Col. Joseph Nastasi USMC Ret. of Monroe, Sandra & Robert Guin of Black Lake, and Morris Pardee of Black Lake.

Given in marriage by her parents and presented by her father, the bride chose a beautiful strapless A-line gown in Victorian lace with beaded motif and chapel-length train.

Kelli Thrower served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Nastasi sister of the groom, Hannah Dumas, Ralee Stinson, and Alyssa Barnett. Sister of the bride Crysta Babers served as the flower girl.

Trevor Taylor served as the best man. Groomsmen were Cole Babers brother of the bride, Jay Harrison, David Brown, and Clint McAdams. Brothers of the bride Clay & Tristen Babers served as ring bearer & sign holder.

Ushers were cousin of the groom Wesley Wilcher, and Uncle of the bride Kevin Babers.

Chelsea is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Pre-Professional Speech Language Pathology and is current attending Louisiana Tech University for a Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Christopher is a graduate of Glenbrook School in Minden and Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology & Health Promotion, with concentration in Health & Fitness. He is currently licensed as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer.

The couple will reside in their new home in Ruston.
