Love for neighbors shown at community paint party

Love for neighbors shown at community paint party

A community paint party takes place at The Farm of Cultural Crossroads Saturday afternoon. Youth Challenge Program (YCP) cadets participate in creating works of art, while Erin Cannon and Jennifer Heard direct children as pole wraps are painted. The theme for the party and wraps is "Love thy Neighbor". Utility poles will be wrapped with the painted vinyl as part of the Highway 80 Alliance effort to rejuvenate the neighborhood. More than 300 people including church groups, community organizations and individuals participated in creating the works of neighborhood art.
