New officer to work with juveniles

Members of the Minden City Council agreed Monday that Tina Hawkins Douglas will make a good addition to the police department.

With only District A Councilman Joe Cornelius absent, council members voted unanimously to hire the part-time dispatcher as a full-time officer.
