Shongaloo woman killed

Janice T. Baker, 70, of 983 Hilltop Road, Shongaloo, was killed about 3:21 p.m. Friday in a one-vehicle wreck on Columbia County Road 3 in Arkansas.

The accident happened in front of New Era United Methodist Church. Baker was driving a 1994 Chevrolet pick-up truck south on CR 3 when the truck crossed the center line, left the east side of the roadway and struck a long wooden fence.
