Tourism lays out long-term goals

Development of the area as a "package destination" topped five-year goals laid out for Webster Parish Convention and Tourism Commission (WPCTC) at Tuesday's meeting.

"Our five-year plan is to come up with a reason for people to come here like the German Heritage Tour," WPCTC Chair Kerry Easley said. "Come up with a package to spend two days and three nights in wonderful Minden, Louisiana.
