Dispute ends in arrestA Minden man is spending his holiday in jail after sending his wife to the hospital with multiple injuries from a domestic dispute.

Alford James Smith, Jr., 29, of the 1000 block of Louisiana Avenue was arrested Christmas day and charged with aggravated second degree battery and false imprisonment. A warrant check revealed he was also a fugitive from the Webster Parish Sheriff's Office.
