Pipe puts man in hot water

A Sarepta man who pulled a pipe during a confrontation was on the short end of the stick with law enforcement officers Tuesday.

Webster Parish detectives arrested Worn Walker Bryant, 51, of the 100 block of Russell Road and charged him with attempted armed robbery when Bryant, with a large pipe in his hand, made an aggressive move toward another man, while demanding money.
