A Drive for Service

Firefighters complete portion of training

In efforts to better serve the community by gaining more knowledge, City of Minden firefighters have just completed the first portion of an 80-hour instructional course.

Instructors from the Louisiana State University Fire Emergency Training Institute (L.S.U. F.E.T.I.) are teaching the classes in shifts as the men come on for duty, so the course will not end until March, according to Training Coordinator Sonny Cudd.
