Women of the Year: Marilyn Miller

Minden's 2012 Woman of the Year sat in the managing editor's chair at the Minden Press-Herald for 18 years.

In the early 1990s, Marilyn Miller's leadership helped earn the local newspaper the highest honor in the state: The Freedom of Information Award.

"The things I did were so long ago," Miller said. "I feel like I've had two lives – a life in the newspaper business and then a life at Fibrebond. Now, I'm starting on my third life, taking care of family and friends and church."
