Guest speaker for the Minden Lions Club, at noon Thursday, October 18 is Sarie Joubert, a native of Shreveport and Manager of Media Relations and Corporate Development with the external affairs operation of Chesapeake Entergy in the Haynesville Shale, and the adoption of natural gas in transportation across the country. The Lions Club meets at the American Legion Hall on Pine Street.
