Top kids top meeting

District 6 receives higher bond rating

Topping the Webster Parish School Board agenda Monday night were students who received awards of excellence, those who excelled in reading, a higher bond rating for District 6 and a dispute about Central Elementary school colors.

"Because of our active stance on reducing our budget, reconsolidation and the proposed RIF and budget reduction that we just adopted last board meeting we received an A grade on our bond rating for District 6," said Crevonne Odom, director of business and finance.
