Alcohol, drugs equal arrest

Celebrating the weekend a little too much got a Shreveport man in trouble with Minden Police.

Johnny Goins, 48, of the 600 block of W. 64th Street, was arrested for disturbing the peace by intoxication and felony possession of CDS Sch. I (marijuana).

Minden Police Chief Steve Cropper said Ofc. Tokia Whiting was off-duty Friday when she received a phone call around 8:30 p.m. with information concerning an unconscious man on Morrow Street.
