Juror: Ready and wound up

In 1995 Perry Kirkland lost his bid for re-election to the Webster Parish Police Jury District 5 seat, but now he has returned 15 years later. He said he is looking forward to working with the other jurors to move the parish forward.

"The jurors that are there are mindful of the needs of the parish," Kirkland said. "I'm just looking forward to serving with them – a very good group. I'm still ready and wound up to go.
