Upcoming event shows artistic abilities run in family
The upcoming show at City Art Works will be "a family affair," with artists Steve Wilson and his sister, Mary Ellen Wilson LaBua as the featured artists in March.
"A Family Affair Art and Tea" will be held March 1 from 5 until 8 p.m. at City Art Works, located at 701 main St., Minden.
LaBua, whose work is with water colors, started painting about 10 years ago while working as a counselor at Southern Arkansas University in El Dorado, Arkansas.
