NAACP president seeks acknowledgement for death of vet

As Memorial Day approaches, thoughts of one deceased veteran are on the mind of Kenneth Wallace, president of the Minden chapter of the National Association for the Advancement for Colored People (NAACP).

Wallace has requested that public bodies acknowledge John C. Jones' World War II military service and his murder, for which Wallace believes local public bodies are responsible.
