Local chamber seeks new president

Minden is in need of a new Chamber of Commerce president, and board chair Sarah Haynes is putting out the call for interested applicants.

"The mission of the Chamber is to encourage businesses to work together and to serve as a business advocate for the betterment of our community," Haynes said. "While the president has a variety of important functions, the heartbeat and focus of the chamber president should be to support local businesses while recruiting new industry and jobs to the area as well."
