Minden police arrest man on warrants, additional drug charges

Minden police investigators caught up with their man on a city street Wednesday afternoon and in addition to serving three arrest warrants for illegal narcotics, added a separate charge for drug possession.

Wesley D. Barnes, a 29-year-old resident of the 300 block of E. Roosevelt in Minden, was arrested just after 1:30 p.m. by MPD captains Daniel Weaver and Marvin Garrett following a traffic stop on Milton Drive, chief of police Steve Cropper said.
