L. T. Rollen

On Nov. 25, 1918, the late Alex and Rosie Clark Rollen gave birth to L.T. Rollen, Sr. in Homer. He was the youngest of nine siblings. He was affectionately given the nickname "Son."

L.T. Rollen gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was a faithful member of the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church until his health failed.
"Son" joined the United States Army. He served during World War II as a Buffalo Solider. He returned to Minden after being honorably discharged from the US Army.
