Jimmie Seab Banks

Jimmie Seab Banks went home to be with her Saviour on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. She died peacefully in her sleep at the home of her son and daughter-in-law on Lake Claiborne. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Minden. Visitation will be from 12:15 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the services. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory.

Jimmie was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Roseland and worked as a florist for many years in both Minden and Homer. She was a great cook and accomplished seamstress who worked hard to excel in all that she did. She was a proud member of the Order of Eastern Star, Shongaloo Chapter # 177, and was also of the Daughters of Rebekah. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
