Funeral services for Vicki J. Wehling will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Fellowship Tabernacle in Benton. Officiating will be Bro. Mack Brantley and Bro. Floyd Jordan. Interment will follow at Booth Family Cemetery in Couchwood. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today (Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011) at Fellowship Tabernacle in Benton.
Vicki was born July 19, 1957 in Shreveport and entered into rest Nov. 2, 2011 in Shreveport.
Her mother, Vena Booth Barnhill; father, J.R. Booth; adopted mother, N. Jean Wehling; and sister, Joanne Allen preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Joshua Wehling and wife, Ida of Bossier City; sisters, Judy Moore and husband, Randy of Texarkana, Arkansas, Mary Jesalosky and husband, Joel of Georgetown, Texas, Suzie Dickson and husband, Wayne of Doyline, Beverly Jiles and husband, Will of Hall Summit and Roxanne Santoro and husband, Robert of Plano, Texas; brothers, James Pate and wife, Judy of Texarkana Arkansas, Joe Booth and wife, Janet of Texarkana, Arkansas, Ricky Wehling and wife, Lori of Clearfield, Utah, Jimmy Vines and wife, Laura of Doyline and David Allen Booth and wife, Cyndi of Bossier City; adopted father, Layton E. Wehling of Bossier City; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special great-great-nephew, Riley Jack.
The family extends a special thanks to her work family at Blazer Construction and a special thanks to her niece, Salena and husband, Matt Miller for the care given to Vicki during her time of illness.
