The woman at the well

It was truly inspiring to me and decidedly several of my closest friends. Today we will look at a very familiar story from an opposite angle than we may have ever looked at it before-from the view of the woman. This is the story of the Samaritan woman or the Woman at the Well found in the 4th chapter of John. Her story rings true for so many women today.

I am a woman, of little importance. I have no reputation, save that which is bad. You whisper as I pass by and cast your judgmental glances, though you have never taken the time to look at me or ever tried to know me.
