Lewis, Soto share top honors at Relays

Warriors runners share MVR Award

SIBLEY — Cold and cloudy weather conditions did not prevent some hot performances at the Richland State Bank Warrior Relays at Lakeside High School last Friday.

Seven teams competed in the event, with Ouachita Christian taking championships in both the girls and boys divisions. Lakeside was runner-up in each division.

Leading the Warriors on the track were co-Most Valuable Runners, Chris Lewis and Enrique Soto. The two runners completely dominated each event they ran, scoring 22 points a piece.
Lewis won the 100 (11.06) and 200 (23.04). Soto won the 1600 (4:29) and 3200 (9:43). Soto and Lewis joined Darryl Moore and Maurice Moore on the winning 1600 meter relay which posted a season best 3:32.91.
