Mayor says no to council

Mayor says no to councilCiting his desire to make and keep Minden a beautiful city, for the first time in his 20 years at the helm, Minden Mayor Bill Robertson exercised his right to overturn council decisions by vetoing two votes for mobile home placements.

"I believe the City of Minden is a beautiful city, and it is my desire to do everything possible to make it even more beautiful," Robertson said in a written statement. "It is my goal to strongly encourage the placement of mobile homes only in those areas which are properly zoned for them."
