Buses are ready to be packed

Two buses in Minden will be put to work this weekend when Pack the Bus starts rolling.

Buses will be located at the Minden Civic Center and Walmart in Minden on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"These buses will be there in hopes that the community will 'pack them with school supplies,'" Kristi Mayfield said. "Volunteers and the community are excited about the event."
