9/11 Attacks 10 Years Later
Few people can say their lives were not impacted by the events of September 11, 2001. With Sunday bringing the tenth anniversary of that fateful day, many of our readers have shared their memories of exactly where they were and what they were doing when they heard about the fall of the first tower. They readily admit it changed the courses of their lives in some way. In fact, the events of 9/11 – from the twin towers to the attack on the Pentegon and the crash of United Flight 93 in Pennsylvania – have changed the way we think about everything from war to air travel. It is truly an event in our history we should never forget. Our very lives and well-being depend on it. Below, and on the inside of this weekend’s edition of the Minden Press-Herald, you will find thoughts and memories of those who haven’t forgotten, and never will. Thousands of lives were lost that day, and we should never forget.
