Officer involved in wreck

A Minden Police officer is okay today after the patrol unit he was driving was hit by another vehicle Wednesday.

According to Lt. Willie Shed, Sgt. Seth Young was traveling south on Hwy. 371 (Sibley Road) when witnesses say a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Juliuana Mitchell of the 200 block of Barbara Drive, ran through a redlight striking the patrol car.
