Rep race headliner

For the first time since 1998, District 10 voters will send a new representative to Baton Rouge in the Spring.

With current state Rep. Jean Doerge, D-10 term limited, voters will choose Jerri Ray de Pingre' (R) or Gene Reynolds (D).

Doerge took office in 1998 when her husband, District 10 state Rep. Everett Doerge died. She was then elected to three consecutive four-year terms beginning in 2000.
