Watch this: Monitor is multi-purpose

Plans are moving forward to implement a monitoring system housed in the parish courthouse that will benefit Webster Parish schools.

The monitoring system will allow for a quicker and more efficient response in the event of a life-threatening situation, such as the 1999 Columbine High School massacre, where two senior students killed 12 students, one teacher and injured 24 other students.
