Without rocks, water will roll

On December 12, 2011, the Town of Sarepta got an early Christmas "present" from the Webster Parish Police Jury. They got a bunch of rocks; rocks they sorely needed.

WPPJ assisted Sarepta to repair the town's wastewater pond levy with a rocky material used for erosion protection called riprap. The town paid what money was needed, and the jury provided some labor and equipment.
