No. 5 addresses publicly-funded retirement of convicted felons

(Editor's Note: Between now and the November 6 election, the Press-Herald will examine each of the nine proposed Constitutional Amendments that will appear on the ballot.)

Proposed Amendment 5 on the November 6 ballot would allow the legislature to provide for the forfeiture of publicly-funded retirement benefits by public servants convicted of a felony associated with and during their public service.
