Detective facing termination

Detective facing terminationSpringhill Detective Dexter Turner could find his career with the police department at an end if Police Chief Will Lynd has his way.

Lynd recently requested approval of Turner's termination and, after an executive session, the detective was placed on paid administrative leave. The Springhill City Council tabled the issue until a special meeting on May 31. Lynd said he could not comment on the situation.
