A stitch in time

Perhaps the tie that binds a community together like no other, is a sense of shared history. As the state's bicentennial approaches on April 12, governmental bodies across the state are participating in a project that highlights the state's history.

Secretary of State, Tom Schedler, the Louisiana Archives and the Louisiana Police Jury Association (LPJA) are partnering to create a quilt entitled "Stitch by Stitch, Binding Together 200 Years of Louisiana History."
