Mile Markers Just Ducky

Mile Markers Just Ducky

Harvey Kennedy and Dick Maxwell install the last duck box-mile marker along Bayou Dorcheat at a ceremony Thursday afternoon. The duo's method of securing the duck box was accomplished by securing their boat before climbing an extension ladder. This operation was performed for all 54 mile markers stretching from the Arkansas border to where Bayou Dorcheat meets Lake Bistineau. In addition to Kennedy and Maxwell, others were recognized for their involvement with the mile-marker project during the ceremony.
