As summer approaches and school lets out, Webster Parish children and young adults have the opportunity to keep busy through many activities at Webster Parish Library's (WPL) Summer Reading program.

The program, which begins Friday, May 31, has been a staple of the library for generations, according to WPL Director Beverly Hammett.
