Glenbrook gets first-round MAIS playoff win

MONROE —The Glenbrook Apaches traveled to Monroe on Friday night for a match-up with the River Oaks Mustangs in the first round of the MAIS Class 2A playoffs.

These two teams met earlier this season, with the Mustangs defeating the Apaches in Minden thanks in part to some undisciplined play by the Apaches. This time around, with their season on the line, the Apaches came ready to play and controlled the Mustangs from the opened kick, winning 36-13.
