Ware pleased with Knights despite loss to Evangel

SPRINGHILL-The North Webster Knights were riding a three-game winning streak going into Friday night's 1-3A match-up with Evangel. And even though the Knights fell to the Eagles, 24-6, head coach John Ware still likes the direction of his team.

"Of course, we didn't like the loss," he said. "But we were pleased with the team. The kids played hard and did everything we asked them to do. They left it all out on the field, and sometimes in sports, that's all you can ask for."
