Minden High hangs on at Loyola

SHREVEPORT-The Minden Crimson Tide rolled up a big lead at the half, and then withstood a furious second-half rally by Loyola to beat the Flyers, 31-28, Friday night.

The Tide led 24-7 at the break, but the Flyers scored 21 points in the second half to pull within three points late in the fourth quarter. Loyola was in possession to tie the game or go ahead after intercepting a Minden pass with just 1:14 left in the game.
