Glenbrook tops Claiborne Academy

HAYNESVILLE—The Glenbrook Apaches traveled to Haynesville Tuesday night to take on the Claiborne Academy Rebels. And after a close first half (the Apaches led 21-18), Glenbrook pulled away in the third quarter and never looked back, taking a 49-26 victory.

"We came out tonight dead in the water it seemed," Glenbrook head coach Chris Kourvelas said of his team's slow start. "We had no answers, we came out with no energy and no enthusiasm. When you're missing easy layups, not stepping to a pass or being ready to receive a pass and turning it over and not making easy jump shots, you feel like maybe this just isn't meant to be."
