North Webster opens season 4-0

SPRINGHILL —The North Webster Knights opened their season with a 9-1 over Haynesville on Thursday and then went on to win three more ball games over the weekend.

Thursday, Cole Gray started on the mound for the Knights and struck out 13 batters with no earned runs in six innings. Ryan Stroud added a scoreless sixth.

At the plate, Renaldo Morris had a double. Baley Baker, Cody Roton, Dylan Modisette, and Matt O'Neal all had base hits for the Knights.
