Minden High rolls past Northwood

Tide improves record to 22-5 on the season

The Minden Crimson Tide improved to 22-5 and 8-0 in district play with a big 16-4 win over Northwood at Griffith Stadium on Thursday.

"We were ready and it showed on the field and especially with our bats," Minden coach Dean Francis said. "We pounded out hard hits and got ahead early never letting them in the game. It was one of the best games of the year so far. Our students are working hard and playing well and the fans are filling the seats."
