Clearnest Loud was born Dec. 9, 1956, the middle child and only son born to Catherine and Cleo Loud.
In early childhood, "John," as he was affectionately called moved to Dallas, Texas with his family. He resided in Texas for more than 40 years and then returned to Louisiana where he lived and worked until his health began to fail.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas. He often talked about his love for God and his prayer time with Him, even until the very end.
"John" had many friends, family and loved ones.
Clearnest departed this earthly life July 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, David and Lucy McKinsey and Simmie Moore; and uncle, L. T. McKinsey.
"John" leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Catherlean Odom and Brinetta Hollands (Vincent) of Dallas, Texas; brother, Anthony Brown (Brenda); nieces, Blair, Brooke, Mardyse, Jessice, and Brianna; nephews, Dantraz and Anthony, Jr.; aunts, Margie Seamster, Marie Brown, Wanda Smith (Ron), Lue Ann Moore, Clara Davis (Johnny) and Annie Morgan (Roger); uncles, Tim Moore, Roger McKinsey, Lee McKinsey and Sylvester Loud; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Clearnest Loud will be held at noon Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Kennon's Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Rodney E. Williams, officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
