SAREPTA — "Surreal" was how Sarepta native Trace Adkins described his performance at Muddy Bottoms ATV Park Saturday night.
With finally a venue to hold thousands of fans, Adkins was able to perform in his hometown at the mud park's Fourth of July event "Muddin' for the Military."
Adkins played for more than two hours, crooning his top hits under his signature black hat, while exciting the ladies with his occasional sensual hip swing.
In addition to a packed floor, hundreds surrounded the stage to watch from their ATVs and beds of pickup trucks.
The country star even gave a shout to his mom, Sarepta Mayor Peggy Adkins, thanking her for not having him put in jail for some of the antics in his younger days.
