City of Minden utility customers have until 4 p.m. Wednesday to make their wishes known as they relate to levelized billing by returning surveys to city hall.
"June 25 is the deadline for us to receive the surveys," Mayor Tommy Davis said. "If customers mail them in, and they are postmarked Wednesday, we will still accept them."
Of Minden's 7,000 utility customers, as of Tuesday, 1,272 had responded to the survey. Davis said 797 or 12 percent, said yes, they are interested in having their utility bills averaged. Those who were not interested totaled 475.Subscribe to Read!
