A Minden man who apparently became upset over a game of dominoes is now residing in the parish jail on a charge of aggravated second degree battery.
Webster Parish Sheriff Gary Sexton said 47-year-old Ross Woods, Jr., who lives in the 100 block of Sterling Street, became involved in an altercation with a playing partner during a Friday night round of drinking and dominoes.
"Apparently Woods became upset about something involving a woman and the domino game and he stabbed another individual once in the back with a knife," Sexton said. "When he was interviewed by investigators, he said he did stab the victim. It looks like alcohol was a contributing factor in what happened."
Sexton said Woods was booked into Bayou Dorcheat Correction Center under a $50,000 bond.
