Faith keeps family going as they deal with toddler’s disorder

Two-year-old Jacob Romero's parents knew something wasn't quite right with their son when he didn't reach the same milestones as most children during the first year of life.

"When he was a baby, he was a really happy baby," Jacob's mother, Amber Romero, said. "But when he turned between 12 and 13 months old, he started crying a lot."

Then Amber and her husband Jesse noticed Jacob's motor skills seemed behind, and with two older brothers, they knew where they should be.
