SAREPTA — There was no traffic jam. There were no massive drunken brawls. There were no shots fired. There were no major crashes. But there was mud and fun — and lots of it.
Muddy Bottoms ATV Park officially opened Thursday and had local first responders on edge as to what might transpire.
"It was really a much smoother and unspectacular event than we expected," Director of Homeland Security John Stanley said. "They were pretty well behaved for a crowd that big. We were pleasantly surprised. Collectively, people said they had a good time and were coming back for the Fourth of July. Overall, I was very pleased."Subscribe to Read!
