Minden High all-district and all-academic team members

Ten Minden High Crimson Tide baseball players have been honored by District 1-4A with spots on the All-District and All-Academic Teams.

Six players were named to the District 1-4A First Team.

Turner Francis was named First Team shortstop as well as District Co-Most Valuable Player. Francis hit .625 in district play and .539 for the year. He hit four home runs

and drove in 44.

Hutton Leppert was named First Team catcher after hitting .320 in district play and .333 for the season. Leppert hit seven home runs and had 20 runs batted in.

Austin Sumner was named First Team third baseman. Sumner hit .348 in district and .365 on the year. He slugged six home runs and added 25 RBIs.

Mikey James was named the First Team as an outfielder. James hit .360 in district and .330 overall with 15 runs batted in.

Sawyer Stephens was named First team utility player after a season that saw him hit .370 during district play and .340 overall. He had two home runs and 20 RBIs.

Carson Bolyer was named to the First Team as a pitcher and went 6-2 with a 2.00 ERA this season.

Caleb Jones was named to the District 1-4A Second Team, and Braden Morgan was named Honorable Mention.

There were five Tide players named to the All-Academic Team. Leppert led the way with a 4.00 GPA, followed by Jacob Johnson (3.77), Francis (3.73), Wilson Hosler

(3.66) and Bolyer (3.54).
