Greg Tibbitt is moving on after two years as athletic director and head football coach at Glenbrook
He resigned last week to take over as defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at Greene County Tech in Paragould Arkansas.
"It was just too good of an opportunity to pass up," Tibbitt said. "It's a 5A public school in Arkansas, and with my wife and I expecting our second child, moving closer to home where we have friends and family is a good thing."
Tibbitt was 15-9 in his two seasons at Glenbrook.
"We really enjoyed our time here," Tibbitt said. "We had a real good group of kids that I enjoyed coaching and our staff was outstanding to work with."
Tibbitt said he is not sure what direction Glenbrook will take in looking for his replacement.
"I would assume that coach (Jeff) Dalton would take over as A.D.," he said. "Because he's done the job before and it would be an easy fix for them. As far as the head football job, I don't know if the job has been advertised or if they have started interviews yet."
