Without warning, death plucked a flower from our garden on April 30, 2014, at Minden Medical Center in Minden. Bro. James Green was called from earth to heaven's reward. He received Christ at an early age at Mt. Comfort Baptist Church where he served as an usher and sang in the choir until his health failed.

He united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Geraldine Green until her demise. To this union, five children were born.

He later united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Judy Combs Green for 13 years. To this union, one child was born.
